Partner Search Database User Guide
The Partner Search Database (or PSD for short) is a web application designed to assist organisations in finding suitable and matching partnering organisations to undertake joint projects. Once registered you have available a complete list of currently organisations who are actively looking to partner with others for project or projects.
The following guide has a short description of the relevant areas, accompanied with a short video, demonstrating the steps taken to achieve the goal.

Administrator, only the UKNA staff can have this account as it’s allows a complete administration of the system, i.e. Sector list, user accounts and also organisational details. Administrator Functions -Demo-

Organisation Admin, account is given to the person who first registers their organisation on the Partner Search Database. Only holder of this account can edit their organisation's details and also create and edit standard accounts for their colleagues. This type of account is limited to only one per organisation. Standard user, a person with this account search the database for partners and edit only their own details such change their password. Standard User Functions -Demo-

Deleting organisation and Re-enabling organisation
A registered organisation can request to be removed from the list so that they don't appear on search result to be contacted by other companies. 2.2 Re-enabling organisation
Likewise the above procedure can be used to reinstate an organisation. It is required that companies should not entered details again if they have been previously rendered removed from searched results, instead they must request to reinstated back onto the list. Registering your organisation
Before you can use the PSD system, you must register yourself to have access, for all user accounts, a valid email address is requires as the username. Registration Process -Demo-Based on who you are, you can be assigned various roles within the PSD application, a brief sample of each of the roles follows:

Edit Organisation details
Organisation details section allows the Organisation Administrator to edit all necessary information that will allow their organisation to generate interest in its projects and provide enough information to attract other organisations to partake. It’s therefore very important that all the details are completed properly.
The page has several different areas, basic contact information, the type of organisation you belong to etc, there are also large areas where you can provide information as to your desired partner organisation and the specifics of the project you are proposing. You can also specify which of the given areas your organisation belongs to. A registered organisation also has to indicate all sectors to which they belong as this is also used as part of the search criteria. Searching for a partner
All registered users can search for potential partners for LLP projects. The search criteria allows you to narrow down the list of organisations to only those which are specific to your needs, this will allow you to save time going through projects and ideas not matching your own.From the results list you can view details of the organisations one at a time, this information will include all information given by that organisation and contact details as well. Editing user Account
Every user can edit their own account details, you can change your first and last name in this section. It also displays your access level and the name of the organisation you are registered too.
