Starting your project

Starting your project

It might be a little overwhelming knowing where to start at the beginning of your project. We're here to help with advice on getting started and preparing your staff and learners for their European mobility.

Starting Up

We hold a start up seminar for each of our opportunities at the beginning of each project lifecycle.

Don’t worry if you can’t attend, you can download our presentations and project promoters experience:

These will help you take your first steps to a successful project.  Keep your application to hand throughout your project so that you can measure your progress against your project objectives.

Get Connected

get connectedOur Get Connected guide is all about 'virtual mobility', by which we mean maintaining relationships, working together and building networks through social media and online technologies.

We've found this to be one of the most powerful ways to sustain the impact of your European activities.

You can also share your own tips through our dedicated Get Connected site and discuss our guidance with the Leonardo, Grundtvig and Transversal community.  Visit the site: www.llpUKecorys.hoop.la

Making your participants mobile

All of our Leonardo opportunities involve the movement of staff or learners across Europe. Good preparation is key and involves preparing your partners as well as your participants in advance of your visit.

Broadening Horizons Thumb

We have put together a good practice guide for all projects called Broadening Horizons. The guide covers all the stages involved in mobility from preparation to follow up activities. You can find lots of hints and tips as well as case studies from previous projects sharing the experiences of mobility.

Project's perspective

Open SpeechPresentingParticipants in the mobilities are asked on their return to disseminate what was achieved during their visits to wide audiences.  This gave the opportunity for some people to present to large and often very senior audiences which added to their skills portfolio and increased their confidence and communication abilities.
