European visit showcases Leonardo Partnership project

The Leonardo partnership funded Sustainable Craft Network project has been showcased in a European visit.

EU Partners from Spain, Italy, Finland and the Republic of Ireland visited Ards Borough Council in Newtownards on the 12th & 13th May 2011. Key speakers included representatives from The Northern Ireland Tourist Board, CraftNI, Creative and Cultural Skills and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

The event was an excellent dissemination tool for the project and a mechanism for networking. It generated interest and attendance from two representatives engaged in their own Leonardo Programmes.
